HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
The HVDC market for large scale transmission and offshore wind is booming as an enabler for the global energy transitions. All these projects are classified as very critical infrastructures and hence cyber security requirements and standard compliance is very high.
As our Cyber Security Manager, you will secure that the cyber security deployments in projects globally are meeting customer and Hitachi requirements. You will be working with supporting both large HVDC Greenfield and service offerings. You will guide our internal organization and strategic partners and will work with our customers to understand their needs and specifications as well as regulative requirements and convert that into innovative and cost-efficient technical solutions well integrated with the overall system. You will lead a team of cyber security responsibles from the various internal functions and departments.

Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for the overall Cyber Security strategy and solutions for HVDC globally
You will be our strategic speaking partner to customers and suppliers on the overall Cyber Security topic
You will ensure that our overall technical solution is developed and applied in our tenders and projects and working closely with other technical owners in the organization
You are the key person in planning, executing and ensuring cybersecurity compliance with internal-, standard- and market requirements
You are active in reviewing proposals, project specifications and technical solutions done by our partners and suppliers
You ensure that lessons learned from tenders and projects are taken into account through guiding team members and through reviews
You follow the development in customer specifications and industry standards and ensure our solutions adhere to the best in class and updated standards
Your background
You need to have at least 3-5 years 'experience in cyber security and in industrial systems for being successful in this position
You are well familiar with the global cyber security standards
You have a solid technical background in industrial automation, preferably in the electrical sector
As a person you are goal-oriented and with a leadership style that allows your teams to perform independently
You are a strong change-oriented leader and good communicator and strong in building internal and external relationships
You have an M.Sc. in relevant engineering, e.g. electrical engineering or computer science
You are proficient in English since you will be part of an international setting where you will need to communicate with people from all over the world
Swedish is a plus but not a necessity
