Product Development Unit Microwave is seeking for a talented Support Engineer for our team in Gothenburg (Sweden) to provide comprehensive MINI-LINK Tier2 operations and support to more than 600 customers in more than 160 countries. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to work from broad guidelines with minimal supervision.
You will provide system level post-sales support for MINI-LINK Customer base. This includes testing, troubleshooting and remote technical support for Ericsson Microwave product portfolio. You will interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about MINI-LINK products and solutions.
You will work in an international environment with a lot of contacts with Ericsson?s customers and employees in the regions and you will frequently travel to perform on site support activities and meet the customers.
Job Summary
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Perform Trouble Shooting for customer issues
Handle customer service requests (CSR) according to WLA
Handle 24/7 emergency support on a roster
Troubleshoot customer issues both in the lab and in live networks as well as remotely and in field
Register Trouble Report and follow up
Perform verification activities
Execute Product Deployment activities and FOA/FFI both in Ericsson and at customer premises
Collect user feedbacks and prepare service preparation documentation

Qualification and Experience Requirements:
Proficient in both oral and written English. Other language skills are a merit
Strong technical background and good product knowledge of telecom equipment, primarily within the microwave domain with Ethernet/IP and TDM features
Good knowledge of Ericsson MW product portfolio is a merit
Additional Requirements:
Availability to travel with short notice
Availability to stay abroad for short and long periods
Availability to sometimes work outside working hours, nights and weekends
