Oil & Crankcase Ventilation systems is one of the design groups in the Powertrain Engineering organization, located in Gothenburg.
The group has ten highly skilled engineers with different engineering roles. Proud owners for Mechatronic hardware components and systems. We interact globally with all sites and also with other engineering teams, functions and key suppliers. We secure synergies between global solutions and are responsible for the whole life cycle from advanced engineering to product care.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Global Component Responsible (GCR) you will lead the development for one or more component areas. Some components are developed by the suppliers which requires a tight collaboration with our development suppliers. Other parts are develop by us in together with our design and simulation groups.
The work requires a tight cooperation with other parts of engineering within Volvo group but also purchasing, manufacturing, quality and aftermarket.
WHO ARE YOU?
To be a successful candidate we believe you are a person with a curious, helpful mindset which is complemented by strong technical skills. You have the ability to plan and drive your own activities in a structured way and understand what it means to be part of a team in order to develop a good solution.
You have more than five years of experiences with combustion engines and learnt the importance of documenting the performed work.
You know that the details matters and know when to take the necessary actions to adjust accordingly.
