www.oatly.comWould you like to be part of the Oatly journey? Oatly is facing a strong growth and will in the coming years invest considerably in new production lines and process equipment. ResponsibilitiesAs our new Global Category Manager you will work in a global role, being responsible for the Capital Expenditures category. This involves for example new filling machines, processing equipment and full production lines. You will work closely with the Technical Project Managers and based on their specifications you will purchase new machines and equipment. You will negotiate contracts with suppliers globally and be responsible for the commercial part of the CAPEX projects. Together with your skilled colleagues you will create a World Class Supply Chain. You will be reporting to the Head of Global Sourcing and you are based at the production site in Landskrona. In this role you can expect plenty of travelling visiting suppliers and own production sites.QualificationsWe are looking for a senior Category Manager or Strategic Purchaser. You have a proven track record of successful CAPEX projects where you have been responsible for sourcing production lines or processing equipment. You are used to managing a considerable budget, challenging stakeholder landscape and complex technical solutions. We believe you have a Master of Science degree, or similar, and a solid technical background, together with strong business acumen. Technical skills in combination with a commercial mindset will probably be the most important factors when selecting the final candidate for this role.About youTo be successful in this role we believe you need the ability to take ownership of your work. You feel comfortable influencing and leading others without being their formal manager, and you have the strength to questioning existing ways of working. You aim for structure but at the same time you have no problem working in a not so structured environment.
