Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Gothenburg delivers products and solutions to all truck brands within the Volvo group. The Entertainment Functions & Electronics group is now recruiting a Global Application SDK and Partnership Coordinator.
You will work as the global coordinator for our extension of the infotainment products through service integration and application support. In a very exciting future that is starting right now you will be the link between our partners and their development for deployment on our platform. Your network will be colleagues and suppliers from around the world.
Responsibilities
• Infotainment SDK Ownership
• Lead the development work with the SDK (and APIs) used when developing applications and services for our Infotainment system
• Update, maintain and support the SDK available to our external development partners
• Drive architectural topics related to interfacing vehicle functions through the use of the infotainment APIs
• Drive the IT security and safety related topics related to mechanisms supported by the infotainment APIs
• Partnership coordinator
• Has a close technical dialogue with popular cloud and media services suppliers to support the best deployment in the truck domain
• Support internal stakeholders and their partners
• Work in close cooperation with the Volvo GTT purchasing organization to support commercial and licensing agreements
• Application developer relations
• Support internal and external work packages related to application development
• Responsible for sourcing and maintenance strategies
Qualifications
• University degree in electronics or computer engineering
• Senior SW architect or similar with experience of mobile devices development
• Android, iOS etc
• Infotainment/ in-veichle entertainment domain knowledge a merit, but not a must
