Axis is looking for the right person to fill an opening position as a Global ADP Engineer at the System & services department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We constantly need to increase our capacity to support and improve our products on the market. Our Axis Development partners (ADP’s), our software partners, are key in our ecosystem and their Video Management software always interacts with our products. This role is fundamental in this relation and in our effort to further strengthen our relations to our key ADP’s. You will work in a team with four ADP Engineers and two Partner Managers. You will be the main support contact for integration of AXIS products with partner solutions and you will also participate in regular phone conferences/face to face meetings and have the responsibility to make sure key Development Partners issues are prioritized and treated properly.
Furthermore you will:
• See to that support cases are prioritized and solved. The cases are of a high complexity and from our ADP’s. You either solve them on your own or in close cooperation with R&D and Product Management.
• Create training material, such as presentations and workshops.
• Train Application Development Partners on integration of Axis technology and APIs.
• Contribute to the documentation of APIs and SDKs.
• Responsible for validation of key ADP applications.
This position requires around 30 days of travelling per year.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you are a strong driven and structured individual with a service minded attitude. It’s important that you have an open attitude towards customers, colleagues and new ideas since you’re going to work with a multitude of interfaces. Furthermore we believe that you are talented problem solver that is practical when it comes to technical matters. You have knowledge in software development, specifically in C and .NET and also knowledge in Windows and Linux and connected scripting.
In addition to above we believe you have:
• A technical degree, preferably with some software development background
• At least 5 years of working experience, primarily working directly with customers.
• Good technical understanding and experience from testing and product evaluation.
• Experience with embedded devices in network environments is an advantage
• As our systems more and more interact with access control solutions specific knowledge in this area is a major plus
• Experience from creating training material is an advantage.
• Excellent English skills, written and verbal.
SYSTEM & SERVICES TEAM
System & Services is globally responsible for the service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for capabilities and solutions, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. Partner Management are one out of six groups within System & Services.
