Responsibilities:
You will become part of a forward-looking, committed, and unpretentious team that strives to deliver with high quality while enjoying the journey. As Global Accountant, you will be responsible for processes and qualified accounting within your area of responsibilities for a handful of companies. This role is a key position in our ongoing growth journey, and you will be involved in inventory accounting, fixed assets, and VAT-related matters. You will work closely with all parts of the organization and international counterparties. The role also includes continuously improving processes, largely related to system support. This position reports to the Global Chief Accountant and you will be based in central Stockholm with our office located in Hagastaden.
Who are you:
To succeed in the role as Global accountant at Polarium, you must be driven, analytical, and goal-oriented, with a profound interest in accounting. You should have a can-do attitude and the ability to create structure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as well as a collaborative nature that thrives in dialogue with others in the finance function. You thrive in environments where you are given the opportunity to be involved in various accounting projects and are driven by continuing to improve routines, processes and working methods.
An academic degree in accounting or business administration and subsequent work with qualified accounting is a requirement. You are likely working in a similar role, such as an accounting manager or senior accountant. Experience of Business Central is an advantage, but not a requirement. You are proficient in English and Swedish in both speech and writing.
