Are you a global expert in Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, and Quality? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to join our team as a PGGI SAP Global Business Process Owner Manufacturing.
In this full-time role, you will report directly to the PGGI SAP Demand and Transformation Lead, leading indirectly a network of Local manufacturing experts to ensure that the SAP ERP system is supporting the local business in an optimal way. As a key player in our PGGI SAP Demand and Transformation Organisation you will interact and ensure that the central SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) will deliver harmonized enhancements according to PGGI business needs within the manufacturing, warehouse and quality areas.
While this position does not have any direct reports, you will informally lead the PGGI SAP Local Business Process Owners as a network of experts in their respective SAP processes. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring global harmonization and protecting the global SAP template.
Your responsibilities will include identifying improvement potentials for the SAP template, signing off all Change Requests and Additional Development Orders from Global Integration to be ready for TCB approval in the SAP CoE funnel process. You will work closely with GI Business Process Management System Owners and Manufacturing/Warehouse GPG managers to ensure process alignment between GI business process demands and SAP system performance.
This role offers the flexibility to be based at any of Hitachi Energy's global offices, with a preference for the placement to be in Europe.

How you'll make an impact
Proactively promotes an inclusive environment in the team and in all interactions with stakeholders and the business. As team leader, you are also ensuring close collaboration with your pears as SAP GBPOs and SAP GPG Leads/HUB Leads as well as Product owners/solution architects/system builders within HE SAP CoE.
To support the Transformation, the role ensures that training materials and manuals are updated with latest information. The role also creates and run trainings for regional/local SAP BPOs and key users to secure that the GI community is using the SAP System in optimal way and by that supporting the Business Value Realization process.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders. Regular interaction with GI Business Process Management System Owners and GPG Manufacturing/Warehouse managers together with also preparing and presenting decision proposals into GI SAP DTO Steco regards to SAP enhancements.
The role has the final responsibility to ensure that the Global Template will be protected and at the same time, making sure that demands from the business to enhance the SAP (GI User Story) system is approved by all GI SAP Global BPOs and not jeopardizing the Global SAP Template performance and stability.

Your background
The job requires a Bachelor's Degree, but if you don't have one, you can still qualify if you have an equivalent qualification or relevant experience that is considered acceptable in place of the degree.
You have proven leadership experience and you have the ability to balance leadership and subject matter expertise.
You hold minimum 5 years' experience in Manufacturing/WM related streams and experience in SAP specifically related to SAP Production and warehouse modules and preferable also HE deployed SAP instance (former Reiwa program).
Proven knowledge of project management methodologies and standards set through the Project Management Institute or equivalent.
Fluency in spoken and written English and able to communicate in a way appropriate to the audience. Other languages are considered meriting.
Proven ability to effectively structure work to handle multiple demands and competing activities, and when necessary, take control of issues and manage them through resolution.
Knowledge in SAP specifically related to Manufacturing/Planning/Warehouse mgnt/Quality.
