Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change and and we are now recruiting a Director Indirect Purchasing for EMEA. Your role will be to lead and deliver savings beyond expectations. You will be responsible for developing the EMEA team to meet the world class procurement ambitions and lead business partnering with senior internal stakeholders to secure implementation and compliance to agreed contracts. You will interface with a wide variety of stakeholders inside and outside the organization in a global setting. The position offers you a great opportunity to contribute to the function 's development and future success.

The Position
The position as Director Indirect Purchasing EMEA is responsible for leading our effort to reduce our indirect spend by professionalize purchasing, spend/supplier consolidation and challenge demand. The focus is to deliver value in Getinge's 11 EMEA core countries. You will be responsible for delivering bottom-line impact to drive profitability improvement. You will lead the EMEA purchasing function with currently 12 direct reports based in Sweden, Germany, Poland, UK and France. You will continue to develop and transform the EMEA team in professionalize strategic and tactical sourcing and business partnering with internal stakeholders.

Among your key duties and responsibilities will be:

Sourcing
• Leading major sourcing activities and managing strategic suppliers' contracts across all indirect services.
• Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities and the measurement of them.
• Measured on financial EBITA impact in business functions.
• Consolidate supplier base; ?Pool spending for competitive tendering in relevant categories globally and across functional boundaries.
• Apply frame agreements
• Lead and establish a robust governance structure to manage strategic preferred suppliers to drive continuous improvements and deliver savings year on year.

Business Partnering with internal stakeholder
• Manage and challenge demand and behavior by stakeholder.
• Implement global demand managing policies.
• Measure and increase general compliance management to selected suppliers and frame agreements.
• Lead early involvement of purchasing in larger deals.
• Bring external market insight and innovation to the stakeholders.

Organization
• Lead, develop and transform the EMEA purchasing team, from operational focus to tactical and strategic sourcing focus.
• Management of procurement professionals in sourcing, contracting, transactional purchasing, supplier management and business partnering.
• Managing the skills and competency development of procurement professionals, including training development and knowledge management capabilities.
• Leadership of cross-functional teaming across other business functions and initiatives.

The position is located at our headquarters in Göteborg. You will report to the CPO Indirect Purchasing and be a member of the Indirect Purchasing Management Team. Since the scope of work will be global as well as regional, domestic and international travel is required and estimated to 20 - 30%.

You have profound experience leading a diversified, international procurement team. In your previous roles you have successfully led change initiatives across geographies and divisions. You are used to working with, and have the ability to influence, different stakeholders inside and outside the organization.

• Minimum 10 years of business experience in purchasing, strategic, tactical and operational is required in a multicultural environment, preferable experience in managing indirect spend.
• Minimum 5-8 years managerial experience in leading direct reports in a remote environment.
• Proven track record of delivering large bottom line savings and other value from a baseline of spend in a complex global environment. Proven track record of meeting the project objectives by successfully managing, tracking and implementing successful strategies in regards to scope, quality, time and cost.
• Purchasing experience of category management within a diverse range of indirect services and an ability to manage a varied amount of projects for the business.
• Experience of delivering strategic plans; negotiating large-scale contracts; and dealing with complex demands and strategic supplier relationships is required.
• Experience from an FDA controlled environment is an advantage.
• Academic Degree (Finance, Logistics, Engineering or equivalent)
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Proficiency in Swedish, German and/or French is beneficial.
