Klarna's Legal Department has a very active role in Klarna's business. With the very exiting focus areas of international product legality, marketing and sales processes the Legal Department works closely together with project leaders, product owners and other business development functions to secure product launches in new countries as well as new product launches in existing countries. Within sales processes they support and develop both physical and electronic (i.e. web) sales agreements processes to simplify Klarna's sales towards new e-stores. This also includes representing Klarna in sales transactions, negotiations and in launch of marketing campaigns. In excess of this the Legal Department is in charge of general contract management, quality assurance and insurances.
As a result of Klarna's expansion to several countries in northern Europe the company is now looking for a legal counsel with a German focus to strengthen the department and take ownership of the various projects, tasks and duties connected to Klarna's German operations.
As a legal counsel you will have a very broad legal scope and be challenged with new questions and projects on a regular basis. You will be working with both long term projects, which require exceptional organizational skills and a talent for project management, as well as high quality legal advice to the organization on a day to day basis. The department and the work itself is continuously developing and just like Klarna it's a dynamic and exiting position!
Requirements
This is a great opportunity for you who have a business minded approach to legal issues. You have strong analytical skills and you take pride in finding new solutions to existing problems. In order to succeed in this position, you will need to be diligent and efficient with excellent communicational skills.
You are off course fluent in German and English and have a law degree from Sweden or Germany. Since you will have a German focus it is meritorious if you have experience from qualified legal work in Germany.
