Volvo Buses is now looking for a Geometrical Architect Leader for our Project Management office within the Global Development Function.

Position Summary
As a Geometrical Architect Leader you will work to efficiently secure the complete bus perspective. You are working in a cross functional environment with other disciplines to secure that the bus is possible to develop, manufacture and maintain efficiently.
Your assignment is to lead geometrical studies on complete bus level throughout all project faces, focusing on early stages. This means you take own initiatives and drive identified topics independently. You will be the natural speaking partner in all packaging related issues for the projects you are responsible for, supporting both the designers and the project manager with a Complete Vehicle perspective.
You will also continuously contribute to the work on identifying potentials for improvements. Since DMU's are used throughout the whole product lifecycle you will cooperate with functions from product development, manufacturing, sales & marketing and aftermarket.

In more detail, your job is to manage the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) structure on a complete bus level, lead packaging meetings, daily communication with the team members, visualize and document packaging conflicts and plan, follow up and report the packaging work.

We are a team of Project Managers and Geometrical Architect Leaders working together to lead the exiting technical evolution of the projects at Volvo Bus. In our team, we have teamwork and transparency as guiding stars and we always strives to continuously improve our team and our work.
