You will
Contribute to the mechanical design team for battery enclosures. Secure packaging of all systems levels within batteries and are responsible for the complete pack geometry analysis of weight and dimensions. As GA you will create assemblies of CAD models. Perform packaging analysis, detect, report and resolve packaging issues. You will lead packaging meetings as well as coordinate all packaging related questions within Energy storage system (ESS) and ESS installation team. You will perform virtual packaging verification towards different stakeholders. Another important part of the function is to regularly drive and follow up packaging activities and report the packaging status to the project team. We need your expertise. You will be encouraged to speak up! We want you to be heard.
Skills:
Proficient user in CREO
Effective skills in Windchill/PDM link
Effective skills in KOLA system and process
Basic skills of Volvo DVP or similar
Effective skills to host large meetings and balance different stakeholders needs
Proficient skills in communication, both orally and in writing
Knowledge of battery and battery enclosures
How to succeed
You show up as a communicative person who can easily plan, align, and focus on the most important things and highest priorities. You have a can-do attitude and like to deliver with a great outcome. You can create concepts and ideas and implement them without hesitation.
You are also
Innovative and hold a B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering or similar education or equivalent experience
Proven experience and fluency with at least 7 years design engineering experience
Truly engaged and committed design engineer. Interested to learn and expand your skills, particularly in the area of battery technology and how these effects it's enclosure geometry
Interested and comfortable to work in an Agile way
You also speak and write fluently in English.
