hela Sverige Systemair is hiring an R&D Manager to the Group Technical organisation to lead and coordinate the development and product life cycle management for Geniox AHU platform focusing on mechanical area. This position is at Systemair Group level.
Background
Systemair is strengthening the competence in Sweden in relation to our key product platforms, of which Geniox is the biggest platform, hence this position is in Skinnskatteberg at the HQ of the Systemair Group. In Skinnskatteberg we already work with another important product platform in our AHU offering, the well-known Topvex AHU where there will be synergies between the two important AHUs.
About the job
You will be a part of Group Technical organization and the leader for a multinational team of experts to continuously develop a worldwide spread product platform. You will be reporting to the Group Technical Director.
In this position, you will:
• Manage Research and Development activities for Geniox AHU platform on group level with respect to Systemair vision and strategy,
• Plan resources and competence for the team in cooperation with different design teams, in our Common Development Team and make sure the engineering team has relevant resources and competence for the Projects & Assignments.
• Lead and coordinate the R&D activities of Common Development Team and of relevant project based local resources from Systemair factories.
• Make sure Geniox design is secured with a Book of Rules on group level and relevant C-Sheets and sustain this engineering documentation.
• Be a member of the Geniox Product Council and drive the work with improving the product platform in line with set strategies and stakeholder needs.
• Manage group assignments portfolio.
• Manage group level projects when necessary and participate in steering committees.
• Support budgeting of Systemair group for Geniox for upcoming FY.s
• Support creation of Geniox strategy
• Support and contribute to continuous improvements of Group Technical Organization and work cross-functionally with other disciplines inside systemair to increase efficiency and quality of the design results.
• Contribute to Public Affairs, market intelligence and lobbying activities.
• Represent Systemair in global HVAC organizations.

The location is Systemair HQ, Industrivägen 3, Skinnskatteberg.
About you
We are looking for someone with the following profile:
• Mechanical engineer with university degree, MSc. is a plus.
• 5-8 years of Experience in HVAC business.
• Deep knowledge and experience on Systemair AHU products, specifically on Geniox.
• History of successfully led development projects in HVAC area.
• Experience in global companies with multinational, multicultural teams
• Leadership skills for physical and virtual teams
• Fluent in English, writing and speaking.
• Swedish speaking or willingness to learn Swedish.
