The Lee Company Scandinavia AB is seeking for a new General Manager who will take the company to the next level to reach sales of 100 MSEK/year. Reporting to the European Sales Director you will lead a stable organization, where you will work with a large degree of autonomy, have the freedom to develop the company with a long-term perspective to our customers, employees and yourself with great job satisfaction.
To get the best start of the new General Manager, you will work in parallel with the existing General Manager during a transition period of approximately 12 months. The position Is located in Vällingby, west of Stockholm. You will lead a small but experienced team of Sales Engineers and Sales Support staff.
Responsibility and tasks
• Promote the sale of Lee Company Products, standard and specials in the territory Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia and other CIS countries.
• Work closely with senior management, product management and engineering at the parent company
• Recruit, work with and train sales personnel for the territory.
• Maintain excellent relations with existing customers, seek to increase the number of such customers and increase the sales of each of these customers.
• Be sensitive to special customer situations that may call for special treatment.
• Be alert on all events and situations that affect the success of Lee Company Scandinavia in maintaining and improving its position as supplier of its product to corporations in the territory.
• Responsible for meeting sales and profit goals.
Essential requirements
• Educated to degree level in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in an equivalent role as a General Manager in a SME company.
• Management experience.
• Technical sales experience.
• Financial experience.
• Personnel experience.
• Excellent oral and written commination skills in Swedish and English.
• Strong Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
• Ability to travel.
