hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Metso Minerals Sala i Sala We are looking for a General Manager Project Management to our office in Sala, where we work with solutions for the mining industry. You will be responsible of leading the Project Management teams in a manner facilitating successful project execution in a controlled way and help the project teams with resource planning and compiled monthly reporting.
Your duties will include:
• Day to day management of the department resources.
• Planning of resources for a successful project execution.
• Supporting the project managers.
• Reviewing and approving risk analysis of complex and/or large projects.
• Preparing and discussing the Project Execution Plan when large and/or complex projects.
• Follow up once per month on project progress, project margins as well as change orders, claims etc and compiling a monthly project summary report covering all on-going projects.
• Preparing and managing the department budget.
• Providing for sales support for projects sales from time to time, by accompanying the sales force when visiting customers.
• Maintaining and developing customer relationships to ensure future work and development of aftermarket business.
This job requires frequent travel, both domestic and international and you should be prepared to fill in other roles in project related tasks as suitable for the competency profile.
Requirements:
You have a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in engineering or business (i.e. Project/Construction Management) with a minimum of 5 years project management/related experience from Mining projects or similar projects. You also have experience from leading positions in project management, engineering, construction or contracts management.
• Strong project management skills (organization, cost control, contract terms) are required.
• Very good leadership skills are required.
• Good decision making skills as well as selling skills, including public presentations are desired.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and effective interpersonal skills are required, as you will have frequent interaction with both internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Strong computer skills, including all Microsoft Office Products, Lotus Notes (and MS Project and/or Primavera) are required.
• Valid driver's license and passport are required.
You must be able to function effectively both as a member of a team and as an individual contributor and have the ability to motivate others. You also have the ability to work under stress and meet tight deadlines as well as effectively and accurately be working with several projects at one time.
