hela Sverige The General Manager of Operations Braås is responsible for creating and developing a flexible, high quality and cost efficient Order to Delivery (OtD) process in the Braås factory and for achieving agreed objectives. He or She represents Operations in the cross-functional Product Earning Governance (PEG) for Articulated Haulers. He or She is also a member of the Operations Management Team and reports to the SVP of Operations.
Main Tasks:
• Deliver products to customers meeting Quality, Delivery and Cost expectations
• Set goals, drive activities and continuous improvement to reach them
• Budget and target process for Operations Braås
• Continue to develop and secure a strong and competent leadership team within Operation Braås. Ensure the leadership team understand and is motivated to drive towards the overall Volvo CE strategy and working with the Volvo Production System
• Secure that the line organization have the necessary competence and resources
• Develop and adhere to the quality control system within the area of responsibility
• Develop the safety culture within the plant
• Secure the right resources and competences from Operations into the Product development process to secure that design for manufacturability is optimized
• Contribute to building a high performing Articulated Hauler business through the cross-functional Product Earning Governance (PEG)
• Contribute to developing Volvo CE Operations strategies and roadmaps and building a solid Operations management team
• Be the Site Manager for Volvo in Braås, with the overall responsibility for health and safety, environmental legislation compliance and security
• Represent the interests of the site in interaction with society
