We are looking for a General Manager Iran on behalf of an international client.

A description follows of the key areas of responsibilities and required skills and competences:

Key areas of responsibilities are
• assume full autonomy for meeting Profit/Loss Targets against the targets set by managing team members across both direct client sales and distributors
• is accountable for customer relation management at assigned D/D, proactively contributing to the development of the network according to the market conditions and requirements
• is accountable for contributing to growth of profitable sales through supporting and developing the local distribution network (IDD and VSM) and through marketing of Reliability Systems products and services
• provides inspirational leadership and takes responsibility for managing the team and maintaining creativity and enjoyment levels
• is accountable for working according to total quality management principles, ensuring zero defect objectives and customer satisfaction
• is accountable for reaching the shareholder targets through retention of business, development of end user customers and development of opportunities into value added solution creation.
• is accountable for maintaining and developing contacts with production and plant management to actively develop sales of the complete SKF portfolio
• is accountable for promoting the company image on the local market in order to create openings at prospects and customers and attracting highly competent employees

Required skills and competencies
• sales strategy experience in industrial business is an advantage
• a sound ability in managing sales figures is essential
• extensive experience of business development and partnership management
• bilingual is highly desirable (English, Farsi)
• anticipates customer needs and requirements and coordinates with others outside own department to meet customer needs (when required)
• requires minimal direction, with full responsibility for final results - limited only by company policies and budgets
• uses communication skills to persuade or convince others to help generate sales
• establishes and cultivates relationships with key external contacts as well as respects internal colleagues
• strong interpersonal skills - positive attitude; needs to be a team player - diplomatic
• experience in dealing with multiple de-centralised business units
• strong external and internal communication skills
Good time management & project management skills - must be able to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines; a multi-tasker
