The EMEA operation of TeamQuest Corporation consists of 16 direct reports and operates from its EMEA Headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. An experienced Pan-European sales team located in Stockholm, England, Germany and France, respectively, comprise the remaining EMEA group. The General Manager (GM) is responsible for maximizing office margin of EMEA operations through direction, vision and management of the marketing and sales force. The GM will work with America's sales management and corporate marketing teams to define and execute necessary sales and marketing programs to achieve both EMEA and Corporate goals. Additionally, the GM is responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Support and other administrative areas within the EMEA office.
The market potential for TeamQuest in EMEA is very strong and as General Manager your focus is to lead (strategically and tactically) our competent and experienced teams to further expand throughout the region. Our customers are mostly large, world-class organizations that have complex data centers. Our software and solutions are sold directly; as well as through a network of resellers, distributors, and technology and service partners.
TeamQuest is based in Clear Lake, Iowa, USA and the EMEA General Manager position will report directly to the President & CEO.
The position requires extensive managerial work experience in Scandinavia including being fluent in oral and written business communication in both English and Swedish. A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in business, sales or marketing is preferred. You must have a proven track record of international business and an understanding of the demands of today's complex IT environments. Travel is required, mostly in Europe but also to the headquarters in the USA a few times per year.
