Job description
We are looking for a General Manager responsible for the Product Company Atlas Copco Secoroc AB in Fagersta, Sweden.
This position reports to the President of Atlas Copco Secoroc Division, and the position holder is a member of the division management team.
The responsibility is to lead and further develop the Fagersta and Ockelbo factories in Sweden, short and long term. This implies an operative management of production with a strong focus on managing quality, volumes, lead times and cost. A very important part of this job is to ensure production efficiency through continuous improvements and lean principles.
Other focus areas are to build strong teams based on organizational needs and business ambitions as well as to attract, develop and retain key talents.
Experience requirements
We are looking for a candidate with 10-15 years' management experience including experience of leading leaders. This person has managed manufacturing operations and applied lean manufacturing concepts. Experience of high technology manufacturing techniques is also a requirement.
Knowledge / Educational requirements
Suitable background for this position is a Master's degree in Engineering and in addition to this a solid manufacturing knowledge. A good understanding of financial processes is a prerequisite.
Personality requirements
In order to be successful, strong leadership skills approachable by all levels in the organization are needed. We are looking for candidates with ability to coach, develop and follow up on individuals as well as teams. Good communication skills, a sense of urgency and strong planning skills are also important in this position.
