hela Sverige We are looking for a systems engineer for the area of Electric Power technology within Vehicle Systems. Today we consist of about 15 employees with an even distribution over the age range. It is a very positive and social group with a great team spirit.
Most of the business is focused on Gripen and its development, but we are also working on a Pilot Training Systems, new business aimed at civil aircraft, international research programs and unmanned aerial vehicles.
We work on designing functions in aircraft, both architectural and functional. We also specify and purchase equipment and develop software. The work is done both in smaller assignments and in larger projects, and we collaborate extensively with subcontractors and partners in other countries.
The role has great development potential and experience can take several years to build up. This is done step by step in collaboration with and with the support of more experienced colleagues. We hope, therefore, that you see this as a long-term and developing commitment.
Your duties include:
• Responsibility for parts of the development of the Electric Power and Lightning systems, which involves work on the design, requirements, development, testing and documentation of our products.
• Ensure that the product is well adapted in terms of installation, function and maintenance with other parts of the aircraft.
• Together with subcontractors and customers, design products.
• Participate in feasibility studies and system investigations.
• Collaborate with several other areas internally at the company eg purchasing, system security, installation and flight testing which will give you a wide network of contacts.
You are a person with drive who is outgoing and good at making contacts. You have the ability to handle several tasks at the same time and work independently as well as in groups.
A suitable background is a bachelor or master engineering degree in, for example. electrical engineering, aerospace, technical physics and mechanical engineering with interest in electric power. Experience in the current or nearby technology field is a merit. You have easy to express yourself in both spoken and written in Swedish and English.
The position will be customized depending on your experience.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
