MachineGames is looking to hire an energetic, dependable General Assistant to assist the day to day operations of our studio.

General Assistant

Responsibilities

• Reception - greeting visitors and customers
• Sorting and distributing incoming parcels, supplies and mail to work stations
• Answering and directing incoming calls

• Studio- make sure community areas operate according to purpose
• Troubleshoot failure, call for repair
• Maintain office supplies 
• Office furniture management- lifting may come up

• Assist IT with maintaining equipment (incl. ordering, purchasing, installation)
• Maintain work-stations

• Assist with other general office tasks as needed (e.g. photocopying, filing, events etc.)

Requirements:

• A self-starter with professional appearance 
• High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good IT skills  
• Service minded, "people" personality
• 2 years experience in related field
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet stated deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office package
• Driving license B
