General Accountant
Our finance function is in a buildup phase. You will be helping in implementing strategies and assisting in building a base to assure future efficiency and transparency. You will be involved in drafting processes and managing risks.
You are an excellent accountant able to handle both every day running tasks, have a knowledge about AP and AR, but you also possess the skill of looking beyond the numbers, seeing the overall picture. You have the capability to switch focus from the details to the big picture and respond to changing priorities. You are passionate about solving accounting related questions and challenges related to e.g. K3, IFRS, project accounting etc.
You should dare to challenge, both others and yourself, and share our passion to do things differently. You will be an integral part of building a modern and agile finance function.

Responsibilities and tasks
- Aiding continuously improved efficiency and transparency
- Actively involved in the currently ongoing SAP implementation, follow-up, evaluate solution, assessment of additional functionalities and system requirements etc
- Help with accounting expertise and give support regarding accounting in an international environment.
- Decide on accounting of Investments and Assets, ensure compliance with IFRS
- Involved in policy, process and routines development and improvement
- Drafting key accounting policies and a finance manual
- Involved in drafting business and system requirements on, and by, the Finance function
- Participate in financial projects
- Masterdata optimization
- Ad hoc tasks aiding the establishment and growth of our function and business
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process, incl audits
- Work closely with financial and business controllers, follow up on the closings and support when needed
- Preparing presentations to various stakeholders within the organization could be applicable
Profile and background
- University degree, MBA or equivalent and preferably several years of work experience within accounting
- IFRS and K3 knowledge and experience is an advantage.
- Experience from driving / participating in projects is very desirable.
- Interested in technology. Preferably experience from IT - projects, system implementations, investment / amortization questions etc.
- Experience from working in a Shared Services context meritorious.

- Fluency in English - both oral and written. However, application can be submitted in Swedish.
This position reports directly to the Director Financial Reporting, Lynk & Co. The position is based in Gothenburg. Limited travel might be needed.
