ArbetsuppgifterThe RP&A team is a central risk analytics team covering all markets and portfolios within the bank from a risk perspective. The team is responsible for supplying stakholders within and outside the bank with information, primarily through reporting and portfolio monitoring processes. The team act as the risk departments primary contact with the HQ organization in reporting and portfolio monitoring related matters. Information is gathered through multiple processes and sources and with the bank data warehouses as the primary source of quantative information.
As an analyst in the team will you have to cover a broad area of expertise within the area of risk management, quantative analytics and data processing. The role covers all aspects of risk management (primarily from a quantative credit risk perspective) through the portfolio monitoring and reporting perspective where you will need to be able to identify, understand and communicate risk levels and portfolio dynamics. Examples are quality of originated volume from a profitability perspective, capital allocation within bank, reserving methodology and its practical impact on the P&L and Balance Sheet.
You will also need to understand statistical modeling approaches and the application of them in business processes such as credit scoring, stress testing and other advanced modeling approaches. In terms of data processing will you be responsible for ensuring controlled and efficient reporting processes and drive the development of them to ensure capacity and information quality.
ProfilWe are looking for you with a relevant master's degree, preferable from mathematics, statistics or finance. Your analytical skills are excellent with a strong capacity to work through complexity, identify patterns and understand structures. You have 2-4 years relevant work experience and are a skilled programmer with experience of handling large data sets by using SAS or equivalent statistical tools.
You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with people from different cultures, levels of seniority and areas of expertise. Excellent communication skills is to be able to present complex information to audiences with different level of expertise without being limited by the communication channel (mail, phone, face to face conversations and presentations). You communicate fluently in English, both written and oral. Excellent interpersonal skills are to be able to build efficient working relationships with stakeholders within and outside the bank, with different levels of seniority and from different cultural backgrounds to ensure effective delivery of results. You are a structured analyst with strong social skills who builds strong relationships and thrives in a challenging environment where you can drive development and achieve results.
