The Electromobility organization is responsible for the complete development lifecycle of our electric powertrains - from advanced engineering through product development into the maintenance phase. Together we drive the transition from conventional powertrains to electromobility based on cutting-edge engineering, state-of-the-art research, and well-proven technology within the Volvo Group. About the role
As a component owner for the High Voltage interface connectors, you will be a key person in ensuring the Volvo offer of world leading PTO, Power Take Off. This role entails many interfaces and cross-functional collaboration, and a key for success is highly communicative person as well as great networking skills. You will have a close cooperation with colleagues within the electromobility team and with other departments within Volvo Group Trucks Technology and other business areas.

You will be responsible for driving the development for a reliable, high-quality connector solution in alignment with the requirements from our stakeholders and with the time plan in mind. You are also expected to make sure that the connector solution is verified in cooperation and alignment with concerned Product Owners cross functionally.

We are looking for you...
• who likes to work both theoretically with our technical experts, with product development in collaboration with suppliers as well as hands-on with verification and installation. You like problem solving and you get motivated by the fast pace that is currently in the Electromobility field. It is important that you have the ability to deep-dive into a multitude of technical areas within electromobility and vehicle installation since the interface connector performance is influenced by many different areas.

Requirements:
• University degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in product development, preferably within electromobility and high voltage systems and connectors
• Practical experience from working with agile development principles within automotive.
• Experience of working with suppliers
• Fluent in English, verbal, and written.

Documented experience from a minimum of two of:
• Technical knowledge in the electromobility products, systems, and components
• Verification experience of electromobility systems and/or components
• Electronic platform and/or system design, preferably high voltage
• Experience from Body-Builder installation or integration

Meriting:
• Experience in heavy-duty vehicle applications and vehicle integration.
• Commercial driver's license (C/CE for heavy-duty trucks or D for bus)
• Project leading experience
