We are looking to hire great people, who are passionate about using their talents to generate success. We are growing and looking for a skilled game engine engineer with a passion for network code and multiplayer.
You will be part of the game engine team and work together with Developers, Artists, Testers and other Stakeholders, to build and maintain our game engine. You will be part of the whole game development life-cycle; Design, Develop, Test, Release and Maintain.
Tasks include (but are not limited to)
• Develop new platform features
• Develop new networking systems for the game client, server and backend
• Optimize game and framework for speed, quality and maintainability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Qualifications
• Excellent knowledge of C++
• Experience in writing network code
• Experience from working with large and complex projects
• Experience from working in an Agile/Scrum development
• Fluency in English
Good-to-haves
• Experience in developing multiplayer features for games
• Experience in Client-server game development
• Experience working with dedicated servers for multiplayer games
• Experience working with a game engine or other 3d rendering software
• Knowledge of WebAssembly and web based applications
• Experience with AWS cloud hosting and operations
• An advocate for unit testing and TDD
• Experience in Favro, Trello or similar tools
• Understanding of the entire build and release chain, from code to final product
• Experience from versioning tools, such as Git
• University degree in Computer Science or similar
