Nu Creatives client is an award-winning games developer creating online video slot machines for the gambling and social gaming audience. The team has years of experience, a burning passion for gaming and a love for gambling, and they care about and respect their players.
Their headquarter is located in Stockholm, in a light and comfortable office space in the centre of the city. On their behalf, we are now looking for a Game Effects Artist, to join their team.
The Job
As a Game Effects Artist, you will be working with in-game FX, creating experiences gamers will appreciate and love. You will be part of a small agile team and work in close collaboration with artists and programmers. The company provides an open and inspired environment where all voices matter.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone with:
Excellent skills in VFX
A creative, imaginative and curious mindset
An interest in technology, computer graphics and gaming
The ability to create in-game effects with memory limitations in mind
An interest in making the most out of available resources within the constraints of various technologies
Great communication and collaboration skills
The ability to deliver high quality VFX in an agile, iterative working environment where pace is high and all voices matter
We also value
Some knowledge of programming, AE scripting or similar
