The Company seeks for a Construction Manager to Gothenburg office, who will work in infrastructural projects such as highway, railway and tunneling projects in Sweden.
Main Responsibilities
Site Supervision and Coordination with respect to Quality/HSE/Environment Standards
• Managing the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labor force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control
• Maintaining regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project
• Ensuring the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring progress
• Promoting and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed
• Efficient resource managing to comply with financial constraints of project
• Communication with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and others involved in the project
• Identification and management of project risk and opportunities
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Preferably with Master of Science or MBA Degree)
• Min. 10 years of working experience in large scale Metro/Railway/Tunnel projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work within a multi-cultural team.
• Experienced in coordinating and managing Subcontractors/Suppliers,
• Ability to complete several tasks together and meet up with deadlines
• Excellent use of Ms Office programs
• Knowledge in Autocad, Gantt Chart softwares and project planning
• Professional Proficiency in English and/or Swedish
