Future Talent Programme is a Trainee Programme within Tetra Pak.
We offer a permanent position from start in September 2021 at our site in Lund. You will onboard an individual designed development programme for
2 years connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization. During the program you will take part of trainings and local and international job rotations throughout various parts of Tetra Pak to explore your potential and grow as a person.
As our new Trainee you will get to know our entire business and work with colleagues all over the world. And this is just the beginning of your Tetra Pak career!

This position is located in Lund, Sweden.
What you will do:
As our new Development Engineer trainee, you will become part of our Distribution Equipment organization that develops logistical equipment like Cardboard Packers and Film Wrappers. This is a challenging area with a lot of competition as well as increasing customer demands on robustness, flexibility and capacity. The equipment includes a lot of dynamic movements and complex package and material interactions. We use modern actuators like servos and robotics to cope with the demand in combination with advanced simulations to provide an optimized design and bring a competitive edge. The design is often a combination of mechanical and automation to achieve the best solution. The person we are looking for is someone that is eager and skilled to work in this area combined with solid mechanical design and simulation capability.
You will work as an expert serving multiple teams with this competence. The role is a combination of being an expert designing and providing solutions as well as coaching other engineers to grow in this competence area. We foresee big challenges coming soon related to new ways of distributing our packages as well as ease of use of the equipment.

• You have (or will have) a completed Master's Degree in the area of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (finished no later than 2020-2021)
• You preferably have your specialization in area/s such as:
• Mechanical Design
• Simulations and advanced calculations
• Mechatronic competence (the overlapping area between automation and mechanical design)
• Robotics
• Data analysis and AI
• Architecture and modularization
• Conceptual design
• Design thinking
• You are fluent in English, written and spoken
• You are mobile/flexible and willing to relocate during internal rotations
• Previous international studies/experience are considered meritorious
• Work life experience while studying is also meritorious
