On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for a Functional Validation Engineer Complete Vehicle for their increasing consultancy. The mission starts in the end of January where the right consultant will be extended or hired after 7 months. Publiceringsdatum2017-01-04Dina arbetsuppgifterA Functional Validation Engineer plans, manages & follows-up activities connected to Performance Validation Tests in complete trucks at Hällered Proving Ground and on public roads in Europe. The team continuously strives to improve the Functional Validation test method and methodology in Complete Vehicle to meet future needs. The team also contributes with driving/vehicle knowledge in the projects and help spreading Truck Electronic Architecture knowledge within Complete Vehicle. The position includes frequent travelling to Gothenburg and occasional travelling abroad.
Main tasks for you as a Functional Validation Engineer are:
• Participate in Functional Validation (PVT) test planning, including budgeting
• Functional Validation (PVT) test execution - vehicle preparations, instructions to and cooperation with drivers.
• Analyse and compile test results both via Protus through can log files and through an Engineering Report after finished test
with a holistic approach
• Verification of Protus reports and cooperation with Engineering departments (EEE/Cab/Chassis/Powertrain/OBT), with analysis for faster solving of the problem.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
What you have with you today:
• MSc or BSc in Electrical engineering or Computer science
• Relevant work experience
• Good knowledge in English and Swedish, both oral and written
• Experienced in complete truck and customer usage
• Holding a C or CE driving license
• Knowledge in measurement technology and data logging (advantage)
• Experience from verification and/or validation activities (advantage)

You will need to be customer focused and have a quality mindset. Good communication and cooperation with drivers and engineering departments is a key to success.
