hela Sverige At Volvo Group Trucks Technology, we are currently looking for a Functional Safety Manager in the Electric Propulsion Control Architect group.
As Functional Safety Manager you need to have a deep knowledge of the ISO26262 standard and organize and manage the development work according to that process.

We are the Electric Propulsion Control System Architecture group, a part of Volvo Group Trucks Technology's Electromobility organization.
Our responsibility is to create the Electromobility Functional System Architecture for Zero Emission products that are developed within the Volvo Group.
Who are you?
To be successful in this position you need to be experienced in working as a Functional Safety Engineer, with hazard analysis and development of safety concepts.
You shall work internally in our organization to set up guidelines and teach your colleagues. You shall also work with suppliers to ensure that their deliverables fulfil the correct level of safety requirements.
Meritorious competences: Python, C programming, Model-based development with Target link/Simulink, Electric propulsion development, C/D driver license, ISO/SAE 21434.
Work description
You will work in an agile environment where you need to be communicative and able to cooperate with many stakeholders. You will guide the department to be effectively organized to handle the functional safety related questions. You will set up good relations with other functional safety managers at Volvo Group, to get a clear responsibility split. You will take part and lead a community of practice and teach and guide your colleagues.
You need to make sure that we can have continuous integration, deployment and deliveries of customer features and still secure the safety of our products.
