hela Sverige Emerson is now looking for a Functional Safety Manager to cultivate and grow the Rosemount Level safety business.
In this role, you will be working close with sales, world area marketing, and Industry professionals as well as end-users to define and deploy our functional safety strategy. Close collaboration with internal functions such as engineering, product management and integrated marketing is also required. This means that you must have excellent communication skills and an ability to create relationships with many different levels and cultures.

What you will do
Lead functional safety program/initiative within Rosemount Level
Identify, prioritize, and develop opportunities within the field of functional safety
Collaborate within Emerson to develop a complete aligned functional safety offering
Work with integrated marketing to develop highly impactful sales tools, marketing material and training programs
Educate sales and customers in functional safety - Make functional safety "easy"!
Create awareness and demand for functional safety equipment
Act as a Single Point of Contact within Rosemount Level for Functional Safety
Requirements
We believe you hold a degree in engineering or business, and you have several years of experience within functional safety in the process industry.
Our daily work is mainly in English why you must speak and write English fluently.
The position has a high business focus and requires both strategic thinking and a high drive for results. We believe that you are able to analyze the business environment and set your own objectives and strategies for how to reach success and also adjust easily to constantly evolving priorities. You must also possess excellent technical knowledge, acting as a subject matter expert to influence both the internal organization and other organizations.
Knowledge of Level measurement applications is meritorious.
Certification as a Functional Safety Expert is highly meritorious but not required.
Additional Information
This position is located at our Innovation Centre in Gothenburg-Mölnlycke with the possibility to work from home a few days per week when the situation permits. Travel and customer visits will be required.
