What you'll do?
As Functional Safety Manager for our LiDAR Platform Products you will perform safety management activities according to relevant standards during all project phases (concept, product development and production). This includes preliminary hazard analysis, DFMEA, FMEDA, as well as qualitative and quantitative fault tree analysis.
You will analyze the impact of ISO26262 releases for the LiDAR Platform and contribute to Functional Safety Culture across Veoneers LiDAR departments. You will also develop safety architectures and safety plans to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout the product development cycle.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a can-do mentality combined with an analytical mindset and structured way of working.
To succeed in this role you probably have:
• Good technical leadership, planning and organization/control skills.
• Experience in Software Quality and process.
• Experience with Functional Safety Processes.
• Experience with Functional Safety analysis methods and tools.
• Knowledge of Requirements Management.
• Detailed knowledge and proven experience with ISO26262.
You have the ability to communicate and present complex ideas to peers, management and customers. You also got good risk management skills, weighting development effort against added value and safety against availability.
This role contains travels to customers and conferences internationally.
You are fluent in English, written and spoken, and have excellent collaboration skills and customer focus.
As a person you are structured, outspoken and clear, and this shows in your results. You have a problem-solving approach and like to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will bring the drive to advance your work, as well as a good team spirit where you can cooperate with your colleagues.
