We are now looking for Functional Safety Engineer, Vehicle motion!
Description
You will be part of the Software & Controls organization within Powertrain/Chassis. The organization is responsible for requirement setting, design/implementation and testing for Software intense systems in the Powertrain/Chassis domain.
The amount of Software and electronics in modern cars continue to increase and the prognosis is that it will increase even more in the future. A vast majority of new functionality in vehicles includes Software & Controls. As a Functional Safety Engineer, vehicle motion, you will be an integrated part of the Vehicle Motion team. You will be a part of all the phases of the car projects, and will be working on all abstraction levels from complete car down to component level.
Typical tasks for an Functional Safety Engineer, Vehicle Motion involves;
• Work with the work products according to ISO-26262,
• Guide the rest of the organization in topics related to functional safety,
• Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc,
• Support the process development with focus on the process requirements from ISO-26262.
We are looking for someone who has;
• Sc or M.Sc engineering degree,
• Engineering experience from relevant area, minimum 0-3 years,
• Domain knowledge in Automotive Electronics,
• Domain knowledge in Vehicle Motion,
• Experience form software intense systems in the automotive industry,
• Experience from development of embedded systems with high real time requirements,
• Experience from systems with functional safety requirements and related standards, ISO-26262,
• Driver license B.
You master English and Swedish, spoken and written.

• Be creative, action-oriented and enjoy problem solving,
• Have good communication skills.
