We at Akkodis are looking for a Electronics Engineer within the field of functional safety to add to our team of consultants! Are you ready to take the next step in your career?
About the role
Are you passionate about electronics and intrigued by the world of functional safety for critical control systems? In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development and certification of safety critical systems, ensuring that our robotics solutions meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in the production and test labs to develop safety critical systems.
* Compile comprehensive documentation for certification institutes, adhering to standards such as ISO 10218-1, IEC 13849-1, and IEC 61508.
* Manage requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of safety features.
* Identify testing requirements, create test specifications, and meticulously document results.
* Conduct thorough risk analyses using techniques like FMEAs and FMEDAs to enhance safety measures.
* Continuously improve released systems, providing support to software and test teams.
About you
If you are a passionate team player with a drive to deliver great results, you will fit perfectly as a consultant.
We believe that you hold a degree in a relevant field such as Safety Critical Control Systems, Electronics, Robotics, or a related field. You bring experience and knowledge in functional safety for electronics modules and systems.
Besides an engineering degree we expect you be familiar with standards such as ISO 10218-1, IEC 13849-1, IEC 61508, and UL1740 is a plus.
We put a strong emphasis on your personal qualities and we believe that you have an analytical mindset which enables you to make informed decisions. If you also bring a positive and self-driven attitude along with strong communication and collaboration skills, you will fit perfectly in this role.
