hela Sverige In the development of Autonomous and Electric Vehicles, Safety is a key part of process and outcome. As the growth and focus has grown increasingly towards R&D within these areas, so have the needs in Functional Safety. Therefore, we are looking to strengthen ALTEN with embedded software engineers with this type of experience. Is tihs you? - apply today!
Within the Automotive sector, ISO 26262 is the main standard used and followed. However, we see a great need and benefit of having engineers with experience from other areas as SOTIF, IEC 61508 and/or ISO 13849 as well.
In this role, you will be the technical leader within the whole SW/HW development cycle. You will develop safety critical architectures and safety plans to ensure compliance with Functional Safety Standards. In short, you will make sure that electric vehicles and autonomous cars will be able to be safely out in traffic.
To be qualified for this role, we see that you have:
• Proven experience within HW or SW Functional Safety. For this position, we welcome candidates who have various industry experience.
• Specifically within ISO 26262, IEC 61508 or ISO 13849
• Strongly meritorious is a to be a certified Functional Safety Engineer from TÜV SÜD, TÜV Rheinland or TÜV Saar
• Experience from working in Europe is also strongly meritorious.
