Functional Safety is a multidisciplinary domain contributing to developing safer electronic products for our society. It has become increasingly crucial for our digital age since the growing automation, connectivity, and electromobility trends have increased our reliance on vulnerable cyber-physical systems.
You will be part of our initiative within Functional Safety and play an essential role in forming the competence area, teaming up with our Safety Manager. You will be part of cross-functional teams working on Functional Safety related projects for our clients. Your focus is on ways of working and ensuring compliance to related standards including tasks such as reviewing and creating processes, educating organizations, performing safety assessments, and helping our clients achieve optimized compliance (

These are the skills you need to bring
We think that you have worked a couple of years within the automotive industry with development, verification, or validation of embedded systems or software, preferably following ISO 26262. You are now ready for a new chapter in your career where you focus on process development, functional safety compliance, and risk management.
You hold an engineering degree and have a strong will to learn new things and share your knowledge. Most importantly, you have a strong interest in the area of Functional Safety and working with compliance and processes.
We also think that you are/have:
• Experience from verification, validation, or development of embedded systems or software in the automotive industry
• Familiar with assessing, developing, and/or improving safety-related processes
• Familiar with relevant standards and regulations such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and/or EU Machinery Directive
• Interested in current trends and upcoming challenges in the domains of Functional Safety and Product Safety
• Fluent in English and good communication skills in Swedish or a strong ambition to learn. Skills and experience from writing technical documentation in English are a plus.
• A valid Swedish work permit and visa
Experience in planning and carrying out hands-on functional safety activities such as HARA/FSC/TSC/FTA/FMEA as well as supplier management and confirmation measures related to Functional Safety is highly merited.
