Within the department Driver Interaction & Infotainment we are responsible for the development of features for Navigation & Entertainment. Our daily work includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles to be able to offer our customers a genuine driving experience. To be able to succeed within our area we see a need for more connected services included in the Navigation system. Join us on our way towards the future.
As Function owner for Navigation System - Connected Services you will be highly involved in feature development discussions and planning. This position will give you a broad contact network and possibility to influence the technical development and way of working. Good collaboration skills is needed as you will be working together with different stakeholders and create a shared vision and technical roadmap of the Navigation system. You will be part of the Navigation team that includes function owners, testers and interaction designers and together with your team specify function requirements ensuring the development of a highly adaptive and cost optimal Navigation system.
Main responsibilities
• Define function requirements for Navigation systems for connected services e.g. online maps, traffic information, in car apps, and more
• Develop a long term strategy for the function by monitoring and analyzing competitors development and customer feed-back
• Define interface requirements for the function
• Supplier contact for connected service providers
Required qualifications
• M.Sc or B.Sc in Electrical and/or Software engineering or similar
• Several years of experience from working in the field of requirement handling within electrical and/or software projects
• Automotive and Infotainment experience is preferable as well as experience from Embedded Linux Development (ie. YOCTO)
• Knowledge within following areas is also valuable: Connectivity technologies like Bluetooth stacks, Wi-Fi, Qt, QML, SW validation and integration
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Driver's license (B-level)
