Are you experienced within electrical engineering and have a great passion for interior light design within the car? Then this is your chance to work in a cross-functional role where you have the possibility to build a rewarding global network, both at the customers site but also within ALTEN. The Interior Trim department lies within the interior department that is organized into six groups who develop components within the following areas: Trunk trim, Door trim, Pillar trim, Interior light, Headliner system, Floor carpets and Sound absorbents. Within the interior trim department, you will have the responsibility of customer functions for interior light, electrical sun curtains and electrical load cover. Our customer is now planning on strengthen their Interior Light team by adding one more Function Owner and therefore, we are looking for you! The Function Owner will be leading the design and maintenance of interior light, electrical sun curtains and electrical load cover functions over the complete function life cycle. This includes dialogue with different stakeholders at the costumer's side, benchmarking, data analysis, documentation, requirements definition, system safety investigations, planning of function design, development, calibration and verification, review of communication material, customer information and vehicle field quality follow up. The function owner should guarantee a humancentric design of the interior light around the customer.
Main responsibilities for this position is to form and optimize customer experience and secure the highest possible quality in the product. You will develop and maintain a long term strategy for the function and create as well as maintain the function description and requirements. Participating in verification activities, evaluate test results and benchmarking competitors will be a part of the position. You will also follow up customer function response and continuously improve the quality of the product. Apart from continuities follow up, you will also perform system safety analysis and documentation.
We are looking for you who have a M.Sc. degree within Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalent experience. You should have approximately two to three years of experience of the complete automotive embedded functions development chain, such as defining solution, verification and analysis. Good knowledge in software requirement administration. A driver's license B that is valid in Sweden and be an experienced driver. You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
