The Driver Interaction & Infotainment department is part of the (EEEP) Electrical & Electronics Electric propulsion Engineering unit within R&D. The department is responsible for electrical systems and components in the areas of Driver Interaction (Instrument Cluster, Entertainment Displays, Switches and Climate Control), HMI and Infotainment (Audio, Navigation, Telephony, Bluetooth, Connectivity).
The Navigation & Entertainment group is part of the Infotainment section and responsible for the functional development and system development within the Navigation and Entertainment area.
The group is also responsible for service providers such as Map-data and connected services within Navigation area. The group also supports maintenance for Map-data release to already build vehicles.
Main responsibilities
• Define function requirements for Navigation systems focusing on Asian markets
• Develop a long term strategy for the function by monitoring and analyzing competitors development and customer feed-back.
• Define interface requirements for the function
Required qualifications
• University degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Human machine interaction or other relevant area
• Project Management skills
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
• Minimum 5 years of work experience within automotive industry
Personal qualities
• Holistic view and conceptual thinking
• Teamplayer with good corporation skills
• Great communicator
