Our team is focusing on the driver and the systems that the driver interacts with. We develop embedded systems and functions in areas such as infotainment, instrument cluster and climate control.
We are looking for a Function owner to be part of one of the most interesting and challenging projects you will come across! We expand the team in a very intense and interesting development phase to create the driver's digital workplace. This is a new project in our infotainment portfolio where you will make a difference with your experience and ideas.
The team's responsibility is as follows:
• Infotainment functions from specification, implementation, HMI and testing.
• Functions like Radio, Media, Telephony, Text Messaging, Navigation etc.
Your new job
As a function owner at Scania, your work is similar to a project manager with many interfaces to align and ensure that the function you are responsible for will become the best it could be.
Examples of daily tasks:
• write specifications
• align on specifications with suppliers in several countries
• supervise the development of your functions
• ensure the test methods and coverage of the functions
You will be part of a highly skilled team consisting of architects, developers, function owners and testers.
Are you currently a function owner, function developer, SW developer or tester and have an interest in infotainment, we might have the perfect role for you - don't hesitate to apply to join the team.
Your profile
You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc in the fields of embedded systems, mechatronics, computer science, electronics or similar along with relevant work experience. However, your attitude and eagerness to learn in a creative environment are most important.
As a person, you love being challenged by new situations and complex problems. With your curiosity, you will enjoy being part of a team that shares experiences as well as challenges. You will work closely together in the team to achieve the common goal - to meet and exceed our customers' demands.
You are driven, cooperative and take your responsibility to systematically develop functions.
