The group Vehicle Interaction Systems within the department Driver Interaction & Infotainment currently exists of 15 people. Vehicle Interaction Systems is responsible for the electrical system solution of HMI across the vehicle for all features that require information to the user. We have a high complexity where we work with different departments that explains how the system works and what the customer should be able to do. We then build the customer interface and logic for the vehicle functions in the main display and then test our solutions.
As Function Owner within the group Vehicle Interaction Systems you are responsible for the user settings functionality. You will work in close cooperation with all functions that require user settings in the vehicle. You will work in all phases of the function development, from early concepts, risk analysis, specification and implementation, to the product launch phase, including costumer quality validation. As part of our team you will establish and develop a wide personal network within Volvo Car Group. You will get access to long term development opportunities in a continuously growing field where you have a direct influence on customer satisfaction.
Main responsibilities
* Develop the user settings functionality and share your knowledge with the team
* Develop a long term strategy for the user settings functionalities
* Monitor and analyze competitor's development and customer feed-back
* Define and cascade user settings functionality requirements and verification methods
* Actively participate in verification activities and solving issues raised during programs
Required qualifications
* B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent working experience
* At least 3 years relevant working experience from automotive
* Meritorious is experience from customer oriented product development
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Driver's license, B
