Function Implementation Plan (FIP) Coordinator
At RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers over the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. As FUNCTION IMPLEMENTATION PLAN (FIP) COORDINATOR within the group Electrical Systems Integration your main task is to create, maintain and follow-up the FIP that controls the functions growth for functions that are implemented in the electrical system for each integration series. This includes securing that deviations are reported and status notified to the integration team and the project management. As you are the link between technique, integration team and project management, the position requires very good social skills and high integrity. This role implicates a great opportunity to learn from different parts of R&D and create a great contact network.
Job profile:
• Establish, balance and agree on the FIP content at project start with function responsibles, integration team and affected project leaders
• Follow up and report the FIP status for each integration series
• Update and publish the FIP on the FIP homepage
• Maintain the FIP scorecard and highlight problem areas and non compliance of the FIP to the Project Management
• Maintain the FIP tools and the working process
Your profile:
• Holistic view with well developed organisational skills
• High integrity and great communication skills
• Motivated and dedicated
• Good knowledge of English and Swedish (spoken and written)
• Master of Science in engineering or equivalent
