About the Assignment
You will join a team in the automotive powertrain domain that develops, tests, and validates engine control software for combustion and emission control in petrol and hybrid engines. The work sits close to the core of how modern propulsion systems perform, combining embedded software, model-based development, and functional behavior in a technically demanding environment.
You will work closely with neighboring calibration teams and other stakeholders to turn functional needs into robust software behavior. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced engine technologies where your work has a clear impact on performance and emissions.
Job DescriptionYou develop functions for EATS and combustion control in engine control software.
You collaborate with calibration teams and other stakeholders to specify and refine functional requirements.
You model, implement, and maintain embedded software using Matlab, Simulink, Embedded Coder, and TargetLink.
You test and validate functions to ensure reliable behavior in combustion and emission control.
You plan, document, summarize, and report your work in a structured and thorough way.
You combine analytical work with hands-on testing when needed.
RequirementsB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Strong experience as an embedded system developer.
Strong skills in Matlab, Simulink, Embedded Coder, and TargetLink.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Nice to haveKnowledge of internal combustion engines.
Theoretical studies in combustion engines, software programming, and electronics.
Experience in SIL testing.
Programming experience in Python.
Experience with ETAS INCA.
Fluent Swedish, written and spoken.
Driver's license, category B.
