hela Sverige Are you passionate about function development and agile team work? Then we have the right position for you to thrive in.
At Chassis Coordination we own and develop the central chassis system and the vehicle level control ECU. We are responsible for functions such as vehicle level control, fuel theft alarm and distance to empty. We also work with embedded code in several systems and have an active interest for continuous integration and smooth development.
About us
We are a tight agile team working cross functionally with changes all across the development cycle, ranging from idea to customer release, with everything from requirements to implementation and iterative testing.
The tasks span from pre-development and prototyping, through contributions in ongoing projects within e.g. electrification and autonomy, to rapid changes for field quality issues. We value continuous improvements and an inventive work environment with a high degree of freedom. And we care for each other.
The position
We are now looking to strengthen our team with a new great colleague, who wants to lead and coach the team as a Scrum Master, and develop outstanding customer value as a Function Developer.
Part of the time you will work with function development: requirement specification, coding in C and Matlab/Simulink, and test automation in Python. Part of the time you will develop and safeguard the team's ways of working and sprint content.
You will work tightly together with your fellow developers in the team, and with the system owner/product owner around priorities and planning.
You will also have a lot of cross functional contacts with other scrum masters and other agile roles in the organization, as well as with your peers at the other Traton brands, as we develop our collaboration.
Your profile
You are probably a developer with a few years of experience in C, Matlab/Simulink or test automation in Python. You love to work in a team, to support each other and to share struggles and success. You are interested in agile development and now you want to develop your leading abilities, helping your team to find the most efficient and sustainable working climate.
Alternatively, you might be a Scrum Master or agile coach, who likes to have one foot in the technical deliveries of the team. You have experience in leading and coaching the agile development and you appreciate a team that is interested in continuously developing their ways of working. You have some previous experience in software development or test, and you are eager to expand your knowledge in the area as part of the team.
In any case, you prefer to work with a product which has a real impact, and that matters to the customer. You feel excited and challenged to resolve technical problems whenever they arise, and you like to laugh at work.
You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc in the field of embedded systems, mechatronics, computer science, electronics, or relevant work experience. However, your attitude, mindset, and personality is of equal importance.
At Scania, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles! We hire for attitude and train for skills.
What we offer
We can offer you a dynamic workplace with diverse and challenging tasks in a hybrid work setup, meaning you can work from home a few days a week if the job allows. We can also provide you with an individual development plan that you create together with your manager, so you can reach your goals and receive the right support along the way. In addition to career and development opportunities, as an employee at Scania, we can offer you other benefits such as free training at Scania's health center Gröndal or wellness allowance, performance bonuses, occupational pension, flexible working hours, lunch at a reduced price, the opportunity for a staff car and much more. Scania also organizes several events throughout the year where family and friends are always welcome, which is usually highly appreciated by everyone. If you live in Stockholm, we also offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje with Scania Jobexpress.
