Function Developer

Automated Drive is a department within Safety Electronics and Functions that develop function and software for various levels of Automated Drive such as Adaptive Cruise Control. The Functional area is under strong development and we foresee a number of additional features to be developed under the coming years. Our scope encompasses research, pre-study, development and maintenance. The main focus is new development on the research frontier of Automated Drive. To develop the world's firsts utilising new research, requires an innovative and creative organisation and personnel. In order to keep the top position we have our own in-house software development.

As Function Developer you will be responsible for a function within the Automated Drive functions. It includes definition of functional requirements to reach desired functional behaviour. Modelling within Matlab/Simulink and customer function and preparation of production code is included in the function developer role. A continuous dialog with projects and other stake holders is also needed in this cross functional role.

Main responsibilities

• Requirement Specification and Management Systems
• Function development within Matlab/Simulink
• Cross functional dialog with interfacing development areas

Required qualifications

• Master of Science in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Control Theory or equivalent
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Basic knowledge in Swedish
• Experience from working within similar cross functional teams
• Driver's licence (B-level)
• Experience from DSpace is meritorious

• Strong analytical skills
• A great communicator with excellent cooperation skills
• Ability to cooperate and work within a team
• Capacity to lead a team as well as being self driven and target oriented
• Business and performance driven
