We are seeking a dynamic Technical Function Developer to join our passionate team and drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge features in this vital area.
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Function Developer, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the way door, window, and mirror functions are designed and implemented. Your key responsibilities will include:
Unleash your creativity: Develop functional and technically feasible concepts that surpass project pre-requisites, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in this domain.
Architect the ideal solution: Create detailed functional specifications and requirements to develop systems that provide unparalleled functionality, exceptional quality, and comply with all regulatory requirements.
Collaboration at its best: Conduct comprehensive design reviews with stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring that all perspectives are considered to achieve the best outcomes.
Fine-tuning for excellence: Continuously refine functional description requirements and function realization requirements, ensuring seamless integration within the subsystem.
Ensure smooth execution: Deliver and maintain a comprehensive functional requirement plan, promptly reporting any deviations from the plan, and taking necessary corrective actions.
Pursuit of excellence: Conduct quality assurance reviews, such as FMEA and Risk Assessments, to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of reliability and safety.
Forge strong partnerships: Manage system/component suppliers, fostering strong relationships to ensure the timely delivery of components with the required features and functions, as per project specifications.
Problem-solving prowess: Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to resolve project and factory fault reports, exhibiting your exceptional analytical skills and ability to drive effective solutions.
Drive innovation: Collaborate on the development and design of improved components, systems, costs, and assembly/manufacturing methods, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our products.
Functionality assurance: Create and execute technical function verification plans, guaranteeing that all functions perform flawlessly in accordance with specifications.
Global collaboration: Work closely with the overall Customer Function Owner, as well as Subsystem developers, SW Owners, and ECU Owners. Embrace the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across different countries and potential OEM partners, broadening your professional network.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and skills:
• Proven experience and expertise in the development and implementation of door, window, or mirror functions, demonstrating your deep understanding of this field.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a track record of successfully identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Strong analytical skills, enabling you to conduct detailed design reviews and quality assurance assessments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, empowering you to engage with stakeholders and build strong relationships across borders.
• A passion for innovation and a drive to push the boundaries of what is possible, continuously seeking new ways to enhance functionality and exceed customer expectations.
• An ability to thrive in a global and multicultural team environment, embracing diversity and leveraging it to drive outstanding results.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field.
