Qualisys is expanding and is now looking for a committed and methodical web developer for their application team in Gothenburg. You will develop varying types of applications for high-speed motion capture cameras for customers all over the world. At Qualisys you get to work with exciting technology and at the same time help athletes take the next step in their development.
Information about the position
As a web developer at Qualisys, you will work in a cross-functional team. Their entire development process is managed at their head office in Gothenburg; market input, project management, software development and mechanical and electronics development.
You will collaborate with experts in the biomechanics field and have a key role in the development of web applications that manage and present data collected with the special Motion Capture cameras. These form the basis of Qualisys' motion analysis system.
You need to be able to meet the team regularly, however, arrangements for remote work can be discussed.
You have:
Excellent knowledge in JS / Node.js, HTML and CSS
Working experience in one or more of the following frameworks: Angular, React, Vue (or equivalent)
Experience working in both frontend and backend
Working proficiency in English (Swedish is a bonus)
Please do mention if you also have experience with:
Frameworks/libraries like RxJS, Electron
PHP, TypeScript, SASS / LESS
Cloud computing (AWS or equivalent)
MongoDB, SQL, or other database types
3D programming (games, Three.js, etc)
Git or other code repositories
Working in agile projects
Mobile or desktop app development
About you
Qualisys is looking for a person who is devoted to all things web and keeps up with new technologies. You should have an interest in learning more as well as have good problem-solving skills. You like structure, have a keen sense for prioritising and organising your work. You value communication and use constructive ways to handle conflicts.
It is important that you are interested in UX and use all tools in the frontend toolbox to accomplish great user interfaces. You thrive when you are able to architect complex applications across both the frontend and backend.
About Qualisys
Qualisys develop and sell systems for three-dimensional movement analysis systems. Customers are found in a wide verity of industries with applications in general biomechanics research and sports biomechanics. Customers also include companies in the animation industry for the creation of film and game animations, as part of Virtual Reality experiences and as tracking solutions in many industrial applications. Qualisys are a company with about 50 employees and around 150 MSEK in revenue. Their headquarters is located in Gothenburg, with offices in Chicago and Shanghai. Systems are sold both directly to customers as well as through distributors worldwide.
