Over the last few years, we learned that solving fulfillment-related challenges for the good of our customers helps us to fuel the growth of our platform. With more partners in the Multi-Channel Fulfilment (MCF) program joining our platform, we have been developing and testing additional further fulfillment services tailored to their needs.
The Connected Network department is responsible for all partner-facing Zalando Logistics Solutions. By unifying and collaborating these services under a single umbrella, we provide a more holistic approach to delivering the optimal fulfillment solution to meet our partners' needs and leverage common services to enable partner program growth.
As a Fullstack Software Engineer in Connected Network, you will design, develop and operate business-critical applications for our partners and internal stakeholders that process tens of thousands of events per second powering the critical partner-facing backend APIs and web applications of the partner fulfillment domain. You will work with tools and technologies such as Typescript, React, JavaScript, AWS, and Kubernetes in building high-performant, low-latency systems to create an impact on customers and partners.

Working on solution planning, design, and implementation by collaborating closely with stakeholders and teams that own dependencies

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE...
5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer
Thorough understanding of microservices and REST APIs as well as extensive experience with React, Typescript, Webpack, JavaScript, CSS/HTML.
Experience in scripting and building CLIs is desired.
Experience with implementing tracking, GTM, and third-party integrations.
Experience with micro front ends is a plus.
Experience with Design Systems is a plus.
Experience with other development languages is a plus
Knowledge about engineering practices that lead to writing well-tested quality code.
Eagerness to read code, pair with other engineers on refactoring and implementation of new features
Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes is a plus.
"You build it, you run it" approach: experience managing features end-to-end, from developing to deploying to monitoring and incident support.
You have good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, moderate team meetings and find creative solutions to complex problems as a team.
Previous experience in the Customer Portal domain is a bonus.
Nice to have experience with Python or Java
