Rollbeskrivning:Our client are looking for a Full stack developer (JavaScript) with DevOps experience for Continuous Integration (CI) applications.
In this position you will work in an agile environment where you as the developer and DevOps engineer is empowered to bring requirements all the way from the reviewing stage to production ready functionality, while also working with code reviews and setting up plans for how to architect the code to have top notch quality and allow for quick changes.
Client works as an agile, cross-functional, empowered team with responsibly to develop and manage the CI- pipeline, which include many different areas and tools that need to be combined and developed. They are responsible for Visualization tools of the CI pipeline, provide infrastructure to run them and develop tools that create Software baselines.
What you will do:
You will be working as a SW developer in one of the agile cross-functional teams with the focus to implement CI-pipeline. Typical tasks performed are SW design, SW development, write tests for your own code, write end user documentation, build user experiences using frontend technologies and support end users. You will be working with VCC top competences within DevOps, a cross-functional team with skills in JavaScript, Node.js, React, Python, Bash, and software architecture. Client collaborates and shares knowledge, and you will grow and develop even further by working with highly skilled colleagues and in a product area, which Client is very proud of.
You and your skills:
Client believes that you are fully fluid in both backend and frontend development with a background in JavaScript and enjoy solving complex technical problems. From a software perspective you are great at translating ideas and initiatives into a plan for software development. They want you to bring your curiosity and learnings on what great digital solutions can be made. You also are familiar with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD development in general.
Required Competences:
JavaScript - (minimum 5 years of working with JavaScript later than ES5)
Node.js
Python
Strong experience with CI/CD systems and software development
React
Next.js
MongoDB
Linux
Gerrit
Docker
Kubernetes
Shell script (Bash)
Cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure
You have experience writing tests and appreciate the value of having them
Client considers it to be meritorious if you have experience of working with RabbitMQ, Redis, Git, GitOps tools (like Flux CD or Argo CD), Kubernetes and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform or Pulumi).

In this position its valued if you have:
At least 4+ years of documented experience of working within IT, in a role as a developer.
Been working with requirements with direct contact to the client
Previous experience in data analytics tools
A good understanding of the Agile development process
Experience with DevOps methodologies
