We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer with emphasis on backend development to join our dynamic Self-Service team. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing our customer journey, a key part of our customer-facing product.
Our primary language is JavaScript/TypeScript using NodeJS Express as our backend and React(JS/TS) as a frontend framework. We don't expect you to be proficient on our stack, experience with other languages is welcome!
Amongst other things, you will work with:
Maintain and develop our customer journey application.
Collaborate on diverse projects, taking on various tasks and responsibilities within different codebases.
Communicate rapidly and effectively within the team and across departments, including product, design, and data teams.
Participate in daily code reviews to ensure high-quality code and continuous improvement.
Work within an Agile inspired methodology, utilizing sprints, epics, and detailed ticket breakdowns.
Value and incorporate team opinions regardless of seniority, fostering a collaborative environment.
Must have:
Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a developer.
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
Strong communication skills and curiosity.
Problem-solving mindset, both individually and collaboratively.
Passion for sharing knowledge and ideas.
A bit of extra credit if you also have:
Experience with Node.js.
Experience with React.
Backend development expertise.
Docker experience.
SQL knowledge.
Experience with microservice architecture.
Experience with AWS.
Experience from the Fintech industry.
